Utilization Guidelines

Guidelines should represent reasonable and appropriate treatments for optimum recovery.

Each has its own specific parameter depending upon the clinical circumstances.  Treatment should be based on Patient Needs and the respons to care. Also sound Medical/Chiropractic judgment is used especially as  some cases fall outside these guidelines.

When cases fall outside these guidelines it is of utmost importance that the treating  physician takes extra care to document complicating factors/co -morbities to establish why care is longer than the natural course.
